Life is not merely a passport book or checklist of places, it is a world to be seen, smelt, heard, tasted, touched, and fully experienced. It is about connecting with people, and the Earth that keeps us all grounded.
While I hope to gather as many stamps as possible in my passport book, both for international travel and US National Parks, I want the journey to be full of priceless moments and not just a completed bucket list. For me, each trip, each place, and each person, is like an addition to a precious gem collection. Each new stone added is different and unique, but equally special and valuable.
My hope is to share this collection, if you will, with you. Offering snapshots of my favorite moments and people, and lessons I learn during the process. In sharing, I also hope the reflections encourage you to bask in the beauty of your own journey and inspire you to continue exploring this beautiful world we share.
A little bit About Me
Born and raised in sunny Southern California, there are few things that I love more than sunshine and cruising the coast. Or the mountains. Or the desert.
I didn’t always love to drive. In fact my parents may have had to force me to get a driver’s license upon graduating high school, but I’d say I’ve made up for it over the years. With nearly 300,000 miles driven across more than 20 states, I think that I know a thing or two…about a thing or two.
I also share a profound love for ice cream, flip-flops, firefighters, swimsuits, coffee mugs, taking pictures and road-trips, donuts, country music, and indulging in In’N’Out, whenever and wherever possible.
